About CQ9 Gaming
CQ9 Gaming has been making slots and fishing games for Asian casinos since 2016. Its official catalogue now runs to around 140 games across slots, fishing, table and arcade titles. CQ9 is one of the studios that defined the "Asian slot" style before JILI and Fa Chai arrived: bright cartoon art, 243-ways reels and hold-and-win style features.
The games are supplied by CQ9 Limited, whose random number generator has been tested by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI). CQ9 links the GLI certificate from its own site. CQ9 is widely described as a Taiwan-based studio, but its official site does not name a head-office country, and we found no PAGCOR, MGA or Curaçao licence in CQ9's own name. We've left those out rather than repeat unconfirmed claims.
The studio's best-known series is Jump High, now with several sequels. In June 2026 the original was named CasinoFreak's Editor's Choice, a decent sign of staying power for a 2017 game. CQ9 changed its brand identity for ICE 2026 (neon yellow is now the main colour), and its 2026 releases have pushed RTPs above 97% and max wins as high as 15,000x.

RTP, volatility and maximum win figures below are from CQ9's official game information (demo builds). Operators can be supplied with different RTP settings, so confirm the number in the game before you play.
Jump High
RTP: 96.18% · Volatility: High · Max win: 5,000x
CQ9's signature 243-ways slot from 2017. The free spins round is where the game earns its name, with multipliers that climb as the round goes on. Third-party sites often quote "150x" as the max win, but that is the top free-spins multiplier, not the overall cap.
Jumping Mobile
RTP: 96.18% · Volatility: High · Max win: 5,000x
A mobile-focused variant of the Jump High formula with the same maths model. If you liked the original, this plays very similarly on a phone screen.
Fire Chibi
RTP: 96.13% · Volatility: High · Max win: 4,000x
A 60-line slot themed on the Battle of Red Cliffs from the Three Kingdoms period. More paylines than most CQ9 games, but still high volatility.
Good Fortune
RTP: 96.19% · Volatility: Medium · Max win: 3,000x
A classic prosperity-themed 243-ways game and one of the higher-RTP CQ9 classics. Medium volatility makes it easier on a small bankroll.
Zeus
RTP: 96.18% · Volatility: Medium · Max win: 3,000x
Greek mythology in CQ9's cartoon style. A steady medium-volatility slot that suits longer sessions.
Mahjong Break
RTP: 97.14% · Volatility: Medium · Max win: 2,500x
Released 26 June 2026. A mahjong-tile game with the highest RTP in this list. Medium volatility and a familiar theme for Singapore players.
Wizard's Wizard
RTP: 97.09% · Volatility: High · Max win: 15,000x
Released 15 September 2026. CQ9's biggest max win to date at 15,000x, with a 97%+ RTP. Strictly for players comfortable with high variance.
Golden Horus
RTP: 97.07% · Volatility: High · Max win: 6,000x
Released 24 August 2026. An Egyptian-themed 1,024-ways slot, a departure from CQ9's usual Asian themes.
CQ9 Fishing Games
CQ9 was one of the earlier studios to take fish-shooting games online. You choose a cannon level, fire at fish and collect the multiplier of anything you catch. Bigger fish pay more and are harder to catch. Here are the main titles in CQ9's official catalogue:
- Paradise (2018) — CQ9's best-known fishing game. 97% RTP, up to 1,000x. Updated in July 2025 with a volcanic lava-island stage.
- Paradise 2 (2025) — the sequel. 96% RTP, up to 1,000x.
- Hero Fishing (2021) — 96.07% RTP, up to 1,000x.
- Lucky Fishing (2020) — 96% RTP, up to 700x.
- OneShot Fishing (2019) — 96% RTP, up to 500x. A simpler format built around single shots.
- Onestick Fishing (2025) — 96% RTP, up to 1,000x.
If you play both studios, note that the original Paradise is the only CQ9 fishing game at 97%; most of Fa Chai's fishing games list 97%. As with any fish shooter, whether a fish is caught is decided by the random number generator. Aiming changes how fast you spend, not the long-run return.

Tips for Playing CQ9 in Singapore
- Prefer the newer releases if RTP matters to you. The 2026 games list 97%+, while many 2017–2019 classics sit around 96.1%. Over thousands of spins, that gap adds up.
- Size your bet to the volatility. For high-volatility games like Jump High or Wizard's Wizard, a common rule of thumb is a bankroll of at least 200 times your bet if you want a fair chance of reaching the bonus.
- Watch the cost in fishing games. Turn off auto-fire and start with the lowest cannon until you know the game.
- Check bonus terms. Fishing and arcade games are often excluded from wagering or count at a reduced rate.
- Set a session budget and stick to it. No pattern or timing trick changes the result of a spin. Our responsible gambling page lists support options in Singapore.
