Mobile Casino Singapore: What's Legal, What's Not, and How to Stay Safe
The law on casino apps, how to spot illegal apps and scams, and where to get help.
Singapore has no licensed mobile casino. Online and app-based casino gambling is unlawful unless the operator is specifically authorised. Land-based casinos at Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa are the legal casino option. This guide covers the law, the risks, and how to tell a legitimate operator from a scam.
Is a Mobile Casino Legal in Singapore?
Singapore's Gambling Control Act (GCA) replaced the Gaming Houses Act, the Private Lotteries Act and the Remote Gambling Act with one law for non-casino gambling. It sets a general prohibition on gambling and a licensing regime for the exceptions. Land-based casinos are governed separately by the Casino Control Act. For the wider picture, see our online gambling in Singapore guide.

What About "Offshore" Casino Apps?
Many apps and sites claim to be "trusted" or "licensed" because they hold a licence from another jurisdiction. A foreign licence does not make an operator lawful for people in Singapore. Treat these as red flags:

The Legal Casino Option in Singapore
Singapore's two integrated resorts, Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa, run the licensed casinos. They are in person only, with no mobile casino app. Things to know before visiting:
Confirm levy amounts and entry rules with the operators or the GRA before you go, as they can change. See our entry levy explainer and online vs traditional casinos comparison.
Mobile-friendly options that are lawful
Singapore Pools and the Singapore Turf Club offer authorised betting and lottery products, including mobile access. These are not casino games. Always use the official website or app, and check the operator's authorisation with the GRA.
